10,000 WATT LIGHT BULB, 1950's

Large 10,000 Watt lamp.
Uses uncertain, probably a stage lamp, or small Lighthouse.
A similar bulb can be seen in the opening credits to the TV show Time Watch.

Your comments:

  • This lamp is a type intended for the lighting of film studios. It is a tungsten halogen version and looks to in fact be from the late 1970s/early 80s. Maker's name cannot be seen on the photo but it looks as though it is from one of the Japanese, possibly Koto.
