PEDAL GENERATOR, 12 VOLTS 5 AMPS, ADMIRALTY PATTERN 323A

Used in Naval Vessels as an emergency source of power in the event of generator failure. This unit could provide enough power to run a small transmitter or charge other batteries.

Your comments:

  • I have one bought at a Sydney flea market about 25 years ago for A$ 10.00. Used it as an exercise bike for years with various wattage 12 volt bulbs as the load.

My local museum are not interested in it.

I would have thought it was for use ashore as the three "pad" feet are removable to reveal spikes to engage in turf or soil
