Your comments:

  • My husband has worn a tie ever since he was at school, he's now 76 and still elicits comments because of it. I was given a Pifco tie press so that I could press his silk ties which I washed rather than have dry cleaned (tight Yorkshireman!) Then I forgot about it and brought it out today. It has a socket plug which I'm loth to use, perhaps I'll fit a three pin plug with a 5 amp fuse and hope for the best.
