PYE MARINE DOLPHIN 2 RADIO TELEPHONE OF 1948, 1956

Developed after WW2 to assist small craft with communications. The fist model was the Dolphin PTC110 in 1948, the design was based on the Wireless Set No19, and it used a rotary converter to create the high tension voltages just as in the WS19. Using 5 miniature valves and 4 GT base types, it had a frequency range of 1520-3800 KHz and operating from 12-24 volts DC. This unit was made in 1956
