GEC EARLY ELECTRIC FAN, 1950's

An Electric Fan made by GEC.

Your comments:

  • A mass produced example of a British fan. GEC made a variety of electric fans from the early 1930's. Before that, they were Ediswan. A merge of Thomas Edison and a Mr. Swan. (Both these men invented the light-bulb with a longer lasting filament in the late 1890's)
