ROLLEIFLEX CAMERA MODEL K1 of 1929 Rolleiflex K1 6X6 TLR (Twin Lens Reflex) Camera of 1929. The first of a very famous range of twin lens cameras, Viewing is done through the top on a ground glass screen holding the camera at waist level, (the picture is showing the hood up) the image is reflected off a fixed mirror inside the body of the camera via the top-viewing lens. The focus is fixed on the K1, set with a focal length of 75mm for both lenses. It takes 117 roll film (Now obsolete) and has a Compur focal plane shutter of 1 second to 1/300th of a second plus Timed and bulb settings. The shooting lens is 75mm F4.5 to F32. Because it used 117 films that only allowed six shots, 120 roll film (still available) could be used, if the 120 film was rolled onto 117 spools, alternately the camera could be modified. Later, the cameras in this range used 120 roll films. A1800 |
